Applications

WIRELESS INTRUSION DETECTION/INTRUSION PREVENTION
LTI DataComm has brought together rock-solid wireless technologies to deliver the most robust security solution set. The detection of Rogue Clients and Access Points (APs) is essential to the protection of propriety networks. Our solutions offer a variety of tools to increase network visibility and identify possible threats. Network-passive “Air Monitors” (AMs) are used to detect signs of attack or other undesired wireless activity. The centralized Access Controller (AC) deeply analyzes all traffic and reports suspicious events. Our system also allows the administrator to physically locate the threat within a building floor plan or tactical location.

In order to prevent wireless intrusion, full visibility of the air and wire is necessary. Our solutions not only detect Rogue Clients and APs, but locate and disable the threat through Denial of Service, “black listing,” and a variety of other methods. Our solutions also enable the prevention of many threats simultaneously without interrupting service. The system’s centralized Access Controller (AC) prevents threats by maintaining a single point of security control and utilizing custom user-specific policies. The AC aggregates encrypted traffic and allows all traffic to be monitored at the Controller while ensuring complete end-to-end encryption.
