Our offerings range from pre-sales engineering to installation and integration as well as follow-on training and support. The Technical Services Division is organized as a cohesive unit with specializations in Legacy Data Systems, Voice Networks, Wireless Transport Services, SONET/ATM Transport, Video Transport Services, LAN Services, Microsoft Network Administration and Security, Cisco Design and Integration, and Helpdesk Support. LTI has assembled multiple teams with skill sets ranging from excavation and trenching, antenna and line installation, tower design, tower erection and fiber optic installation splicing and connector installation. With additional certifications in each of these related fields, LTI has to ability to complete turnkey installations in-house allowing us to demonstrate and maintain quality throughout the length of the project/product life cycle.

Headquartered in Sterling, VA, the Technical Services division offers additional engineering capability in Northern California and Minneapolis, MI. The group is sub-divided by technical competency in the areas of Data Networks, Video Networks, Voice Networks, IP Networks, Enterprise Networks, Wireless Networks, and Helpdesk Support. LTI DataComm engineers are experts in synergistic technical arenas, allowing a fluid cross flow of knowledge and capability. In addition, the team has experience in the research and development of modified OEM systems to meet specific customer requirements.

The Service Process

LTI DataComm processes customer requirements by conducting an initial thorough evaluation of the customer's network, mission, and need. Further analysis of the customer's network may involve detailed evaluations on physical and logical network configurations, legacy applications, network addressing, security and vulnerability assessment, reliability and availability analysis, network optimization, disaster recovery, survivability, and storage area network and off-site backup systems analysis.

Our project engineering processes include network analysis, requirement analysis, network design, interoperability testing, deployment, integration, system testing and commissioning, quality control, as-built drawings and baseline network configuration. The LTI DataComm Technical Services team takes great care in providing a first-rate turn-key solution for the customer.
