Virtualization is also becoming a key component to disaster recovery strategies. Containing server sprawl through virtualization allows organizations to maximize resources and minimize the hardware footprint. The virtual appliance can leverage existing deployed hardware platforms, existing SAN and/or NAS storage, existing management and configuration tools and is easy to deploy using standard virtualization tools. It has built in support for VMmotion maintenance and its high availability failover keeps a complete warm cache, a virtual accelerator can be moved from one server to another without losing the warm cache.  Servers can be repurposed to host your virtual accelerator.  The virtual accelerator is perfect for mobile platforms, such as airplanes, oil rigs, maritime vehicles, and hardened servers approved for military and civilian use. 

It can deploy on your hardware platform of choice, and multiple virtual accelerators can reside on one physical server, or multiple virtuals with multiple physicals to achieve unlimited scalability.
