Sterling, VA – May 23, 2011 – LTI is proud to announce that as part of its on-going commitment to support, local, regional and national Community Outreach Programs, several employees enthusiastically participated in this year's “Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer”, held May 14, 2011 at the Reston Town Center.
Thanks to the contributions of our employees, their families and friends, LTI as a corporate sponsor, proudly contributed a total donation of $1,550 in support of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's drive.
“The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is focused on improving the survival rate and quality of life for women dealing with ovarian cancer. Every little bit of time, attention and resources spent on promoting awareness and raising money for this worthy cause is important,” said Marlo Swanson, Director of Human Resources. “While many of LTI employee's friends and family members may be impacted directly by this cause, collectively we are very fortunate to have the ability to help give back to the local community around us – both through financial donations and our physical presence at such noteworthy events.”
